The double height structure is highlighted using stone. The stone used here is Perlatto beige. It has been cut into rhombus of equal divisions. All four sides have been beveled to form a ‘V’ groove joined to form a linear design. The floral patterns are all hand made and have a depression in them to give an effect of third dimension and something protruding out. The flowers are randomly placed on the rhombus sides. The whole idea was to create a blend of contemporary straight lines and floral pattern. The stone has been extensively used on floors and also staircase. Though a main element in the design is stone still it forms a background to support the interiors.
